Description

GS05P02GAC0008, Security System Installation project. This project consists of furnishing and installing an interior space security system for a Federal Agency located either fully or partially, on floors 14 through 30 of the John C. Kluczynski Federal Building. There is an existing security system in place, which will be retained and augmented with the new security system components. The project scope includes but is not limited to: Providing 81 keycard readers with door contacts and egress motion detectors including all conduit and cabling stubs. Providing 11 CCTV camera systems and duress alarm systems at various locations. Duress alarms will connect to existing security system. All cameras will terminate on the 14th floor for recording. Card access computer will also be on the 14th floor and will network to a workstation on the 28th floor. Project includes new system control panels, power transformers, reader interfaces, and 2500 proximity cards. All horizontally routed cable on each floor will be plenum rated and need not be in conduit. All vertical communications riser cabling between floors must be routed in conduit. The estimated price range for this project is between $150,000 and $250,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 233320.
