Description

This acquisition is for the procurement of 34 each Nut, Drive Shaft, P/N: 4069335, NSN: 2840-01-308-0812NZ. Size and dimensions: 7? diameter x 5 ?? high. Form fit and function: A round nut that provides locking features to secure the HPT assembly on the aft end of the 229-compressor rotor. The knife-edges provide air seals to limit hot air leakage into low turbine bore coding air on the F100PW229 engine. Predominant materials: Nickel Alloy. Required delivery schedule: 34 each by 31 May 2002. The items will be ship to FB2039. This requirement is SOLE SOURCE to PRATT & WHITNEY. THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT REQUIRED TO DELAY AWARD PENDING APPROVAL. Qualification and First Article requirements apply to this solicitation.
