Description

Forest Service is soliciting helicopter services for aerial ignition and fire suppression. Contractor will be require d to provide type III helicopters, pilots, and fuel trucks to conduct aerial ignition using Premo Mark III (ping pong ball d ispenser) machines, provide observation/recon platforms and supply water drops for the control of wildfires and in support o f prescribed fires. Work will be performed in Mississippi, and Alabama. Work is anticipated to begin January 2002.
