Description

FSC: L010, NAICS: 541330 Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Louisville Detachment the In-Service Engineering Agent for Major, Medium and Minor Caliber Naval Gun Systems, PHALANX Close-In-Weapon System and responsible for the planning and introduction of new gun weapon systems and technology into the Fleet is issuing a solicitation N63394-02-R-4009 for engineering, manufacturing, program and operational support services. This effort is a small business set-aside. Solicitation requirements include the possession of a top secret facility/personnel security clearance (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) DoD 5220.22-M) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) (in accordance with DoD 5105.21-M-1 Administrative Security Manual for Sensitive Compartmented Information). Services are to be provided in support of these specific task areas: Production Engineering; Maintenance Support Functions; Logistics Engineering; Reliability, Maintainability, Availability and Quality Assurance Engineering; System Integration and Interoperability; Design Functions; Test and Evaluation Functions; Acquisition Support; FMS Support; Program Support; Manufacturing Support; Operational Support; and Security and Communication Services. The contract shall be for one year plus four one-year options. The estimated level of effort shall be 120,000 hours per year. Contract performance will be at the Navy facility in Louisville, KY. The proposed NAICS is 541330 and the size standard is $20 million dollars. The anticipated issue/release of the solicitation is 15 November 2001.
