Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Business Center has a requirement for Preventive Maintenance Service on Government owned Philips ATL Ultrasound Systems and equipment and intends to use sole source procurement basis to the following: Philips ATL Medical Systems, PO Box 3003, Bothell, WA 98041-3003. This sole source procurement is for all labor, materials, parts, and travel to perform routine and emergency preventive maintenance (PM) on the attached list of Government owned ultrasound equipment at VA Healthcare System facilities located in West Los Angeles, Sepulveda and San Diego, California. PM service will include, but, is not limited to; remote diagnostic and feature activation, on-board system diagnostics, all operating system and software updates, parts, labor and travel during normal business hours, and Biomedical Engineering First Line Maintenance Training. The intended contract will be for a base period of one year with the government=92s option to extend the contract in one-year increments for four one-year option periods. The solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations (VAAR). The NAICS code for this project is 811219 (annual income of 5.0 million or less). Qualified businesses other than the sole source company listed above wishing to receive a copy of this solicitation must submit in writing certification and copies of all appropriate hardware and software licenses to Philips ATL Ultrasound Uplink (Remote Diagnostics and Feature Activation) and Service Diagnostics / On-Board Diagnostics. The certification and copies of licenses must indicate that the company have complete access to and are licensed to provide service and maintenance on Philips ATL Ultrasound Uplink (Remote Diagnostics and Feature Activation) and Service Diagnostics / On-Board Diagnostics. In addition any qualified business must have the ability to provide updates on all operating and software systems, including SonoCT.
