Description

The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to acquire Maintenance Management Services of U.S. Government owned laboratory/medical equipment found in Army Research Laboratories. Maintenance Management Services are required for laboratory/m edical equipment currently located at Fort Detrick, Frederick, MD; Fort Rucker, AL; Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD; Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Washington, D.C.; Natick, MA; and Fort Sam Houston, TX. The government reserves the right to include other federal, state or local government sites. These efforts may be in conjunction with this commands program announcement or a separate task. The government will have the option to add or delete locations or equipment through the life of the contract. Management services will include repair analysis, payment processing including cost overrun protection, and statistical repair information. Management services will include: a) part sourcing; b)service vendor selection assistance; c) repair event analysi s and management reporting; d) depot repair services; e) used equipment consulting; f) biomedical analysis. The plan is to award one contract for a base period of twelve (12) months each for a total of sixty (60) months. Only written and/or electronic re quests for the RFP package must be received within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice.
