Description

This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items / services prepared under FAR Subpart 13.5 as supplemented by additional information included in this notice. This procurement will be unrestricted. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency intends to procure "Facsimile Machine Maintenance" on secure and Non-secure Fax Machines located throughout the Continental United States, for a Time and Material Contract.=20 The Government intends to award the contract to include 1 base year consisting of 12 months, plus 2 option years also consisting of 12 months each. The equipment list consists of (**Hewlett Packard, Lanier, Ricoh, Ilex, Konica, Panafax, Xerox, Canon, Omni, Sharp and Brothers) but is not all-inclusive and is subject to change The contractor shall provide services on a per call or as needed basis time and material and hardware maintenance as determined by the Government. NIMA has over 350 Facsimile Machines located CONOS / OCONOS. NIMA will not ship any fax machine to vendor for repair all repairs will be done on site. Response Time: 4 hour response time for emergency repairs from the time that the Government notifies vendor that maintenance is required. 8 hour response time for remedial maintenance at the designated point contractor personnel shall arrive ready to commence repair. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The contractor shall respond only to specific Government requests for remedial maintenance and hardware maintenance services. Offerors agree to hold their prices firm for 60 calendar days from date specified for receipt of offers. The solicitation number is NMA10002Q0010 and is issued as requests for quote (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 and Defense FAR Supplement 91-13. Provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is hereby incorporated by reference. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical Acceptability and Price. Award will be made to the Technically Acceptable offer whose price is lowest. Offers are to include a commercial price list, a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, and provisions at DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and certifications-Commercial Items, with the offer. In accordance with provision at 252.204-7001, Cage Code reporting, Offeror is to provide Cage Code with the offer. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items, is hereby incorporated by reference (including 52.222-3,52.233-352.203-6,52.203-10, 52.219-8, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36,52.222-37). In addition FAR 52.217-5, Evaluation of Options is incorporated by reference. The clause at 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement statutes or Executive Statutes or Executives Orders applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, is hereby incorporated by reference (including: 252.225-7001, 252.225-7012, 252.225-7036. The resulting order will carry a DPAS rating of DO-S10. Quotes are due by 2:30PM Eastern Standard Time 26 October 2001. Fax copies of quotes are acceptable.
