Request for Information The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is considering awarding multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for nuclear technology research and development. Specific areas for research and development include electromagnetics, sys tem design & assessment, and nuclear phenomenology. We anticipate the award of multiple contracts using competition. The estimated program value is approximately $50M/year. We are currently soliciting input from industry to help refine our acquisition s trategy. We are particularly interested in industries view toward the feasibility of the project, core skills, risks, and Small Business participation. All recommendations, comments, and questions must be submitted through email or the web site. Request all comments to this announcement be submitted by 7 November 2001.
