Description: The objective T800 engine variant for the Comanche Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase is the T800 LHT-802 engine. This requirement will provide the needed T800 contract support through both the T800 and comanche EMD phases (FY02-FY06). This requirement will proceed in parallel with the T800 EMD production requirement. The EMD support phase will result in a military qualification of the T800-LHT-802 engine. This requirement is comprised of both Level of Effort (LOE) support that will m aintain a specific LOE or description of support expected throughout the 5-year length of the contract and specific or completion efforts that are more focused. Efforts include, but are not limited to, Program Management, Systems Engineering, Testing, Air Vehicle Support, and Logisitics Support. Numbered Note 22
