Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a class of orders under NAVAIR Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Number N00019-00-G-0280 for various supplies and services in support of the Taiwan FMS E-2C Aircraft/Weapon System/Program. These supplies and services will consist of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Support Equipment, Spare and Repair Parts, Engineering/Technical support, Field Support Services, Training, l abor and material necessary to inspect, test, repair, modify, restore and/or return to ready-for-issue condition E-2C major assemblies or sub-units, E-2C peculiar ground support systems or sub-units, technical data publications and technical, admin istrative and financial data in support of the Taiwan FMS E-2C Aircraft/Weapon System/Program. NAVAIR intends to negotiate these orders on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Bethpage, New York. Northrop Grumman Corporation is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer and systems integrator of the E-2C Aircraft and Weapon System and as such is t he only firm with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to fulfill these requirements.
