Description

DESC:Collar, Gas Regulator NSN 1005-01-036-7160, Part Number 11825992. The item to procure is a collar, gas regulator that consists of nut, fastener regulator 11825993; rivet 11825996; washer, keyway 11825995; pin straight, headed 11825994. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 2,088 each. FOB is Destination. For use on the M240 Machine Gun. Estimated issue date is on or about 08 November 2001. Proposed contract is 100% Small Business Set Aside. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: OFFERORS ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT: In order to receive the technical data package, all offerors are required to execute a Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement binding each offeror to the terms and conditions of the agreement. Copies of the Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement may be found as an attachment to the solicitation posted on the web. The Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement must be signed by an official authorized to legally bind the company. Upon execution of the Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement, return by mail to TACOM-RI, AMSTA-LC-CSC-A, Sheri Gross, Rock Island, IL 61299-7630 or data fax to (309)782-3813, Attn: Sheri Gross. Upon receipt of the signed Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement, a technical data package will then be mailed to the offeror. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
