Description

Andrews AFB is seeking proposals from small businesses to provide management services, personnel, equipment, materials, parts, tools, and labor to inspect, test, maintain (preventive and corrective), and repair the electrical aspect of fire extinguishing systems and automatic fire alarm systems at Andrews AFB, Davidsonville, and Brandywine Communications Sites in a manner that will ensure serviceability and operation. The proposed procurement shall result in a firm fixed-price contract. The contract term will be one base year and (3) one-year option periods. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 811219 and the Sic Code is 7382. The size standard is $5 million. Selection will be based on past performance and price in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations 15.1. All firms planning to submit a proposal should attend the site visit. Potential offerors are reminded to register in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, REQURIED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (MAR 2000), lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. In accordance with FAR 5.102 (a) (1) availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium; the solicitation may be downloaded free of charge via the Internet at (http://www.eps.gov/spg/USAF/amc/89CONS/postdate_.html). Hard copies (paper sets) will not be provided by the Government. Notification of any changes (amendments) to the solicitation will be made only on the Internet. It will be the contractor?s responsibility to check the website daily for any posted changes. This acquisition was previously referenced under solicitation number FA4416-01-RA066 all future correspondence shall be referred to under FA4416-02-R0007.=20
