Description

Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst New Jersey has a requirement for the following item in support of the EA6B Aircraft: Air Data Test Set (ADTS) P/N ADTS405-8325, quantity 2 each. The ADTS generates precise pilot and static pressures for testing aircraft pneumatic instruments and air data systems. The test set can be used to conduct dynamic tests, quantitative tests and pneumatic leak test. The set also generates altitude and airspeed outputs and pressure rates. The set is man-portable and has self-contained pressure and vacuum sources. The proposed acquisition is for an item that the government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure this modification under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Druck Incorporated, New Fairfield, CT 06812-4022 has proprietary ownership of the drawings and specification for this item. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
