Description: See numbered Note 26. NSN 1005-21-912-8997, firing attachment, blank ammunition. End item M249 (SAW) , color red. Parts are being procured in accordance with Diemaco Inc. (2C085) part number 08309C-1. The total quantity is 5,964 each with 3,165 each to be shipped to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 and 2,799 each to be shipped to Stockton, CA 95296-0130. There is a 100% option which may or may not be exercised by the Government. Requested delivery is 140 days. There are no drawings available on this NSN. This is an unrestricted procurement, all offers from responsible vendors will be considered. Copies of the solicitation will be available after the issue date (11/22/01) on the web at "http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp". Written offers are required, no DIBBs offer is acceptable, to be returned to the address in Block 8 on page 1 of the RFP by the date and time specified. Both Delivery Evaluation Factor (DEF) and Automated Best Value System (ABVS) apply. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based on a combination of factors as stated in the RFP.
