Description

Stratton V.A. Medical Center, Albany, NY 12208 is seeking qualified architect engineer firms to perform an Electrical Distribution Study for its physical plant. The Study will include surveying the Facility=92s electrical distribution system to record existing conditions, complete with load study, to result in existing one line schematic diagrams which shall Reflect current conditions. The Study will also include investigating existing conditions for compliance with current Federal state and local codes, as well as the installation of mimic buss on motor control centers and switchboards. One line diagrams shall be submitted on vellum and CD. =20 The Final Report will include recommendations for immediate repairs, desired upgrades and long range planning. The following Evaluation Criteria will be used during the A/E selection process l) Specialized experience of the firm to perform the work required; (2) Capacity of the firm to perform the work within required time frames; (3) Past performance; (4) Specific experience and qualifications of the proposed personnel assigned to the Project Design Team; (5) Geographic location of the firm's working office in relation to the renovation site; (6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered materials, and using waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design. =20 THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
