Description

The Government intends to procure Park Attendants/Caretakers services for 14 campground sites at J. Strom Thurmond Lake, South Carolina, for a period of one year to include a one-year option period. The services will require two adults (21 years or older) to perform Park Attendant/Caretaker services at the 14 campground sites and remain in the campground sites at all times while on duty. The Park Attendant/Caretaker will furnish all labor, equipment, fuel, transportation, tools, cleaning and office suppli es (except Government-furnished supplies) necessary to provide the services for the duration of the contract. The Scope of Work requires the contractor to have a factory-built, self-contained recreational vehicle (RV) of the travel trailer or motor home t ype to serve as temporary living quarters for the duration of the contract. The campground sites are suitably sized to accommodate up to 35'-40' vehicles. Nine of the campground sites are for Park Attendants without cleaning responsibilities and five of the campground sites are for Park Attendant/Caretaker with cleaning responsibilities. The solicitation will contain a Letter of Instructions listing the performance period and opening date of each campground site to include the scope of work, wage rates a nd maps. Procurement history indicates that individuals will bid on this requirement who are only capable of providing services for one campground site at a time. A total of 14 multiple awards are anticipated. All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered. Set-aside type: This is a small business set-aside procurement. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 7033 and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 7212 11, and size standard is $5,000,000. Closing date for receipt of quotations will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. Requests for solicitation packages must be submitted in writing via mail or fax (912)652-6059.
