Description

1. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Washington, intends to negotiate a Sole Source firm fixed price contract to BioSystems, 850 Lincoln Center Drive, Foster City, CA 94404 for DNA Sequenced Based Typing Reagents to do HLA typing of bone marrow transplant samples from volunteer donors by the Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) in Kensington, Maryland for the Department of Defense Marrow Donor Program. CLIN 0001. HLA-DRB BDT SBT Reagent Kit, quantity: 120 Kts, CLIN 0002. HLA-DRB Sequence Module, quantity: 170 Kts, CLIN 0003 TF Kit BDT RR-5000, version 1, quantity: 3 Kts, CLIN 0004. POP 6 Polymer, quantity: 80 Bts, CLIN 0005. Capillary Array, quantity: 8 Ea, CLIN 0006. 3700 Running Buffer, quantity: 6 . FAR 52.217-8 and FAR 52.217-9 are included. The North American Industry Classification System Code is: 325 413. This will be awarded as a sole source procurement in accordance with an approved Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition. All responsible sources may submit an offer, however, only itms meeting the navy's requirement will be considered for technical review. See Note 22. All offers must be received in this office no later than 2:00 pm (EST) on 26 October 2001
