Description

The Association of Old Crows will hold its premiere event -- the 38th Annual International Symposium and Convention at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC, October 28-31, 2001. This year's timely theme is "The Changing Global Face of EW and IO" and the impact and preparedness of current military operations around the world. Mr. Mark Ronald, President and CEO, BAE SYSTEMS, is the symposium chairman. The overall symposium agenda is designed to accommodate the professional interests of everyone in the C2, intelligence and information operations domain. Briefings will be provided from Vice Admiral Dennis McGinn, USN, Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (Naval Warfare); Brig Gen (S) Larry New, USAF, Air Combat Command, Director of Requirements; BG (P) Keith B. Alexander, USA, Commander, U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command; Dr. Charles W. Perkins, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense, Advanced Systems and Concepts; Dr. Judith A. Daly, Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Precision Engagement); Brig Gen Jonathan S. Gration, USAF, Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Deputy Director for Information Operations (J-39); Lt Gen Thomas J. Keck, USAF, Commander 8th Air Force and industry leaders from across the globe. The second and third days of the conference offer concurrent policy and technical tracks. The exhibition hall will be open October 29-31 and offer technical exhibits featuring state-of-the-art equipment, live demos, innovative software and user programs.
