Description

This is a sources sought announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. Information from potential sources is being sought in order to determine common commercial practices for the bird control services requirement at March ARB CA in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and to seek qualified sources capable of providing these services. Bird control services may include one or a combination of bird control methods such as, but not limited to, falconry, dogs, distress calls, trapping, habitat modification, pyrotechnics, or radio controlled aircraft. The different methods and usage will be left to the contractor?s discretion. Bird control services shall be performed on the airfield where the presence of birds would present possible hazards to aircraft. Contractor must perform services to maintain a LOW bird watch condition where LOW is defined as normal bird activity on and above the airfield with a low probability of a hazard. The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, local laws and Air Force regulations in performing these services. A basic contract with 4 one-year options is contemplated. Responses should include company name, mailing address, telephone number, facsimile number, e-mail address, company point-of-contact and business size. For the purpose of determining your business size, the NAICS code of 561710, Exterminating and Pest Control Services, with a size standard of $5,000,000 average annual receipts, will be utilized for any resulting acquisition. The solicitation, if issued, will be available on the internet at FedBizOpps. All contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of a contract.
