Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment Washington (FISCNORDETWASH) has a requirement for the Chief of Naval Operations (N09B11). FISCNORDETWASH intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with the International Research Associates (IRA), Inc. of Gaithersburg, MD. This procurement is for the Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Service on the Intrusion Detection System located in the offices of The Pentagon, Washington, D.C. The contract type is firm fixed price for commercial services. The duration of the contract will be for a base year with four option years. FAR Clause 52.217-8 (Aug 1989) -- option to Extend Services will be incorporated into the contract. The database controller and software used to run the equipment currently in place at the Pentagon is proprietary to IRA, Inc. Due to the urgent nature of this requirement, the contract shall be awarded within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The POC for this procurement is Jeannie Coratolo (202) 433-3602.
