Description

This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and therefore, a formal solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. The Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure the following: 119 each. Camera, manufactured by NIKON; INC.. c/o: 35MM; SINGLE LENS REFLEX (SLR); AUTOFOCUS; BUILT-IN SPEEDLIGHT; MODEL: N65; LENS MOUNT: ALL METAL NIKON F MOUNT WITH AF COUPLING & AF CONTACTS; LENSES: ALL AF NIKKOR; FIXED EYE-LEVEL PENTAPRISM VIEFWFINDER; FLASH CONTROL; SELF TIMER; AUTO FILM LOADING, ADVANCE, & REWIND; PWR RQMTS: 2EA 3V CR2 LITHIUM BATTERIES OR 4EA SIZE 'AA' TYPE ALKALINE MANGANESE, LITHIUM, NICAD, OR NIMH BATTERIES.. Deliver FOB destination to FORT GILLEM, GA, 30297-5122. This procurement is unrestricted and is placed under full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The brand name and part number are provided for reference only. Offerors proposing to provide other than the requested items shall include specification data sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered items to meet the requirements stated above and in the specifications. The applicable NAICS code is 333315, size standard of 500 employees. However, all proposals received at the time established for the receipt of proposals will be considered by the Government. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by 31 October 2001, 4:00 PM PDT.
