Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Teradyne Incorporated for the acquisition of Logic Automated Stimulus and Response (LASAR) Version (V) 6, a Digital Automated Test Program Generator (DATPG), VX-2, L300 software, Boundary Scan Intelligent Diagnostics (BSID) and Memory Test (MemTest) modules in order to support the Navy's development of Digital Test Program Sets (TPS) for the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS). This acquisition is for the renewal of the existing license agreements for single and multi-user licenses. The procurement will also include some sustaining engineering hours for various tasks related to the LASAR software and the CASS. This acquisition will be accomplished via an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with a minimum of 2 LASAR licenses and a maximum of 100. As the designer, developer, integrator and original equipment manufacturer of the original LASAR, BSID and MemTest software, Teradyne is the only known company that possesses the experience, knowledge and technical expertise to perform these requirements within the timeframe required. The Government does not own the specifications, source code, drawings or data. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
