This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and therefore, a formal solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure the following items: 2 ea. Speech Extraction System; Includes 6 standard Modules; Band Limiter, Parametric EQ, Harmonic Notch, Adaptive Extract, Noise Reduction, and Tone Removal. Intelligent Devices PN: SES 4. Deliver FOB destination to FORT GILLEM GA 30297-5122. Requested delivery 30 days after receipt of contract. This procurement is conducted under full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The brand name and part number are provided for reference only. Offerors proposing to provide other than the requested items shall include specification data sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered items to meet the requirements stated above and in the specifications. The applicable NAICS code is 334290, size standard 750 employees. However, all proposals received by the time established for the receipt of proposals, will be considered by the Government. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by 31 October 2001, 4:00 PM PDT. Offers may be mailed to: TELEVISION -- AUDIO SUPPORT ACTIVITY, Sacramento Contracting, ATTN: Chuck Friedrich, 3230 Peacekeeper Way, McClellan AFB, CA 95652-2600. Facsimile responses are acceptable. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. The following provisions apply to this solicitation and, to the degree applicable, to any resulting contract.
