Description

The Government will execute a Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) to upgrade and extend the life of its MH-47 Fleet. The program will convert 6 CH-47D, 11 MH-47D and 19 MH-47E aircraft to MH-47G configuration. The MH-47 SLEP will be conducted in conjunction with the Army's CH-47F SLEP. This contract procures MH-47G unique Long Lead Items (LLI) required to support MH-47G Lot I delivery and logistics requirements. LLI needed for Lot II and Full Rate Production, whose lead times justify acquisition at this time will also be procured. The Contractor shall recommend a list of MH-47G unique items to be included in a Material Requirements List (MRL) production program. The proposed acquisition is planned as a sole source acquisition with The Boeing Company, Boeing Defense and Space Group, Stewart Avenue and Route 291, Philadelphia, PA 19143-0858. The period of performance is 12 months from contract award. The Boeing Company is the sole manufacturer of the H-47 family of aircraft. The contract is releasable to U.S. firms only. Requests from U.S. firms must be submitted in writing to the above address and must include business size. All responsible U.S. sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336411. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
