Description

The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure on a non-persoanl basis audio and visual equipment for five conference rooms at the Norfolk Naval Base. Award of a Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated to include the new required audio and visual equipment, and removal and installation of the existing equipment, which is located at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Chesapeake. The Government intends to acquire the commercial items using FAR 12, acquisition of commercial items. A determination has been made by the Government to solicit this requirement as a set-aside for small business. The applicable North American Industrial Classification code is 334310 and the Small Business Standard Size is 750 employees. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit via a Request For Proposal. Interested persons may identfy their interest and capability to respond to the re! quirement by! requesting a copy of RFP N00140-02-R-0078. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
