Description

The government intends to solicit/negotiate/award on a sole source basis with Amron L.L.C., Antigo, WI, under the authority of FAR 6.302. The HQ, Operations Support Command intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the procurement of Manufacturing Technology for the production of the M67 Grenade Bodies to Amron L.L.C. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Manufacturing Technology will include detailed m anufacturing processes, support documents and tooling and gage drawings for the manufacturing of the M67 grenade body, NSN: 1330-01-051-1586, PN 8810743. This data shall provide details of the production process and provide insight into the production of the M67 grenade body, the tooling required and identify inspection equipment and methods. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. No solicitation will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest in writing and must prov ide evidence that they have successfully manufactured the M67 grenade bodies. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely in the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by COB October 24, 2001. If no responses are received by this date, a sole source contract with Amron will be pursued.
