Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Oxford, Wisconsin is soliciting to establish a non-personal service contract to provide nursing services to inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp Oxford, Wisconsin. The Contractor shall monitor the institution PPD program, triage patients and assign appointments, conduct intake screens to determine immediate health-care needs, and function as a member of a correctional heath-care team comprised of physicians, mid-level practitioners (PA's & NP's), a pharmacist, health services administrator and ancillary support staff. The Contractor will evaluate and analyze the status of their patients and make recommendations based on clinical findings. The selectee will not function in an administrative capacity. The Contractor will provide written reports in S.O.A.P. format to the Clinical Director for review. Recommendations for further diagnostic testing and/or treatment, when indicated, are forwarded to the Clinical Director. Contractor must be a registered nurse and must possess current licensing as a registered nurse in the State of Wisconsin. Proof of liability insurance commensurate to licensed skills is required prior to providing hands-on patient care. The service shall be at one hour sessions- 12 sessions per day, on a two day a week basis. Monday through Friday for an estimated total amount of 1152 sessions for the expected contract period of November 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002. A firm-fixed price option year contract is contemplated. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by this office.
