Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This 100% set aside for small business. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, USZA96-02-Q-1000 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The associated NAICS code is 561730 and small business size standard is $5M. Line Item 0001 Grounds Maintenance for the period 1 Nov 01 thru 30 Sep 02 for CSBR2 Compound, NAB Little Creek, Norfolk, VA. Contractor to provide all labor, supplies, tools, materials and equipment to maintain all areas in a well groomed and freshly maintained condition including trimming, weeding, mulching, fertilizing, seeding. FOB Destination to CSBR2, NAB Little Creek, Norfolk, VA. Award will be based on past performance, relevant experience and price. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. Offerors are required to complete and include a copy of the following provisions with their proposals: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition as well as FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms & Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
