Description

All interested contactors are invited to view the Draft Request For Proposal(DRFP) for the Special Operations Forces Support Services Contract (SSSC II) located at http://PKEC.ROBINS.AF.MIL/ under the SSSC II heading. A Pre-Solicitation Conference is scheduled for 6 Nov 2001 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Visascope Theatre, Eagle Bldg at the Museum of Aviation, Robins AFB GA to discuss the DRFP. The purpose of the DRFP and pre-solicitation conference is to obtain industry involvement in the Government's proposed approach for acquiring non-personal Engineering, Logistics, Program Management Support, Technical Data, and Software Maintenance Services to support the Special Operations Forces (SOF) System Program Office (SPO) for the next fifteen years (five year basic contract with two five year option periods). The services shall encompass support tasks for the following weapon systems and subsystems: AC-130H, AC-130U, MC-130E, MC-130H, MC-130P, C-141B/C-17 SOLL, MH-53J, MH-53M, HH-60G, HH-3F, UH-1N, CV-22, associated technical orders, aircraft systems, subsystems, avionics and support equipment. The purpose of the DRFP and pre-solicitation conference is not to obtain proposals, it is to provide an opportunity for government and industry to exchange information prior to finalizing the Request For Proposal. All questions and comments concerning the DRFP must be received as soon as possible but no later than 26 Oct 2001.
