The Mason Enterprise Center Procurement Technical Assistance Program at George Mason University and the DoD Pentagon Renovation Program are sponsoring a Small Business Industry Day, October 23, 2001 in the Johnson Center of George Mason University, located on the main Fairfax campus, 4400 University Drive, Fairfax, VA. Two duplicate sessions are scheduled. (1) The morning session 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and (2) The afternoon session 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.registration begins at 12 noon. The Industry Day is for small business contractors who are interested in hearing about the Pentagon Renovation Program, including the reconstruction effort. Small business contractors who are interested in hearing about the Pentagon Renovation Program, including the reconstruction effort. Small business contractors will have the opportunity to meet with prime contractors and their first-tier subcontractors under the Pentagon Renovation Program, to discuss subcontracting opportunities. the Industry Day is intended for small business contractors in construction, engineering (including construction, mechanical and electrical) information and management technology, and other related trades. Although there is no registration fee, all attendees should register for either the morning or afternoon session. Deadline for registration is 12:00 noon, October 18, 2001.
