Description

On approximately 12/15/01 UNICOR will be issuing a solicitation for a new five-year contract that will include five, one-option years for Powder Paint. At this time it is estimated that the contractor will be supplying various colors of powder paint (epoxy & hybrid) to the following locations (other locations may be added): Bastrop, TX; Terminal Island, CA; El Reno, OK; Lewisburg, PA; and Milan, MI. Estimated yearly volume is 430-600 thousand pounds and estimated yearly dollars are $1-2 million. The contractor must have local service representatives capable of providing full technical and product support for UNICOR?s Powder Paint processes in the manufacture of Industrial Products, Office Furniture and Vehicular Components. Contractor must have existing capabilities and experience in supporting the estimated UNICOR usage and many colors and varieties of Powder Paints as stated above.
