Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and Far Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19. This is an unrestricted combined synopsis/solicitation. This solicitation number M67399-02-Q-0002 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the following item: CLIN 001- Qty 2500 ea 4x4x8, #2 fire treated lumber, CLIN 002-Qty 300 ea 4x6x8, #2 fire treated lumber, CLIN 003- Qty 200 ea, 8x8x8, #2 fire treated lumber, CLIN 004- Qty 250 sheet, 3/4x4x8 cdx plywood fire treated lumber. Require deliver date is 30 days ARO. De liveries will be made to Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Impl ement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, applies, with the following clauses applicable to paragraph (b): DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to this combined CBD synopsis/solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Evaluation will be based on the best value to the government considering price, past performance and delivery time.
