Description

THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the reference number is W813LR12358001A. This acquisition is unrestricted. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in eff ect through FAC 97-27. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334419 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The requirement consists of the following: CLIN 0001 -- Tektronix AWG520 Arbitrary Waveform Generator, 1GS, 2C H, Quantity of one (1) each; CLIN 0002 -- Tektronix AWG520 03 Add Ch2 DB out, 10 Bit Chain 2 Data Generator, Quantity of one (1) each; CLIN 0003 -- Wavewriter Software, Quantity of one (1) each. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE. Delivery point is FOB DESTINATION to Fo rt Monmouth, NJ, 07703, within 30 days from date of award. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be issued on a Standard Form (SF) 1449. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers Commerc ial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders Commercial Items (in paragraph (b) the following clauses apply: FAR 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, and 52.225-13); DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representation and Certification Commercial Items; and DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Re quired to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items (DFARS 252.225-7001). Quotes may be submitted in contractor format and shall include: (1) Company name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and FAX number; (2) solicitation number; (3) unit and extended prices for all CLINS; (4) prompt payment terms; (5) Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN); (6) Contractor DUNS Number and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code; and (7) completed copy of the Representations and Certifications at FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7001. Offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior t o receiving an award for this acquisition. Award will be made to the technically acceptable, low price offeror. Based on research into standard commercial practices, the Contracting Officer has determined that only new equipment will be accepted.
