Description

The proposed acquisition is for one (1) lot of installation of Aviation Vibration Anlyzer (AVA) Enhancement Kits into AVA units. Authority Cited: Statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this requirement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)( 1), as implemented by paragraphs 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) entitled -- Only one responsible source or only a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisitio n is sole source to Smith Industries, 13112 Evening Creek Drive South, San Diego, California 92128-4199,who is the designer and manufacturer of the items.
