The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. NASA/MSFC plans to isssue a Request For Quotation (RFQ) for a UV CCD Camera for the development and testing of the SUMI Spectrograph. Additionaly, to be used as an engineering breadboard of the camera systems to be flown on the SUMI Sounding Rocket Program. SPECIFICATIONS: Item 1: NSN:6720 P/N=Supply Source=UV CCD CAMERA. Quantity: 1 EA. The CCD Sensor must be a Back-Illuminated, 512x512 Frame Transfer Sensor with 13 Micrometer Square Pixels equivalent to a Maconi (EEV)57-10 CCD. This sensor must not be optimized for use in the ultraviolet with a quantam efficiency grater than 60% at a wavelength of 280 nanometers. The detector must be mounted in a housing capable of maintaining a hard vacuum for five (5) years. The housing should be able to achieve -50c thermoelectric cooling in air and -75 degree c using water cooling. The housing will include an option for water cooling. The readout should range from 1 Megapixels per second to 62 Kilopixels per second. Equivalent to ANDOR part number: DV-437-BU2. Item 2: NSN=6760 P/N=Supply Source=Controller for Item 1. Quantity: 1 EA. This controller will control the camera (item 1) and provide the interface between the camera and data acquisition system. The controller should have a PCI interface and dual A/D coverters to handle the 1 MPIXEL and 62KPIXEL readout rates. The resoultion of the A/D convert ERS is 16 bits. Equivalent to ANDOR part Number: CC-010. Item 3: NSN=7030 P/N=Supply Source=Software to control Item 2. Quantity 1 EA. Software to be compatible with Windows 98/NT/2000 Operating System.
