Description
The purpose of this announcement is to solicit (Note 1and 25) interest from small business concerning regarding procuring professional services for Actuarial, employee compensation and benefit and risk management services including analyses and recommendations to DOE as to the reasonableness of performance based management contract expense. Additional analysis will include welfare benefits and group and casualty insurance. The small business size standard is $5.0 million average over the last three years. The DOE has more than 30 contractors throughout the U.S. performing management of DOE facilities. The DOE performs actural analysis, employee compensation, insurance and risk management studies at these sites. The DOE would like interested small business firms to provide capability statements representing similar work performed by their firms for Fortune 500 firms. See Note 25. Interested parties must submit a written capability statement which will provide a summary statement of their work based on the services DOE intends to acquire, dates of the services, hours/prices allocated to the work and references and telephone numbers. If the firm has not worked for Fortune 500 firms, then provide the same requested information with a list of clients where the firm has performed similar services. Additionally, DOE's Managing contractors are spread through the U.S. The DOE intends to limit travel expenses by locating a capable firm with offices near DOE sites.
