Description

The DARPA Microsystems Technology Office (DARPA/MTO) will host a one-day, unclassified briefing of the planned BAA 01-49 Semiconductor UV Optical Sources program for interested representatives of U.S. Government and the U.S. technical community only. The Bidders Brief will be held on November 8, 2001 from 0900 to 1600, at the Austin Marriott at the Capitol, 701 East 11th Street, Austin, TX 78701. The intent of hosting a Bidders Brief is to inform the technical community of the government plans and related activities to DARPA's Semiconductor UV Optical Sources program. Organizations wishing their representatives to attend the Bidders Brief should respond via on-line registration: http://www.DavinciNetBook.com/conference using code DAR47862. A limited block of rooms has been reserved at the Austin Marriott at the Capitol. Please contact the hotel directly for room reservations at 800-228-9290. Room rates have been established at $129. In order to assure receipt of the discounted room rates, hotel reservations must be made by October 17, 2001 using the room block name of DARPA/MTO Bidders Brief. Organizations will be limited to a maximum of 3 representatives each. Registration application must be received no later than (NLT) 1 Nov 01. Registration will be confirmed via e-mail NLT 2 Nov 01.
