Description

Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Vibralign Inc., 530G Southlake Blvd. Richmond, VA. This acquisition shall be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This procurement is for a Combi-Laser VSP System, for vertical turbine alignment part number 100 60M, including; display unit; FL102 laser transmitter; coordinate table for laser transmitter, deflector unit; fixture with measuring probe for detector; 300 MM and 600 MM RODS; cable -- 6.0 meter length; storage cases, and 3 days on site training, measurement service, and a printer. The Combi-Laser VSP System for vertical turbine alignment is manufactured in Sweden and is the only laser alignment system found that produces the required readings, has the distance limits required, compensates for plant vibrations, and mounts directly to the turbine shaft. No request for quotes will be issued. Letters and telephone requests for a copy of a request for quotation will not be accepted. However, vendors with this capability may submit an offer with pricing to be considered by the Government no later than 8 calendar days from the published date of this announcement.
