Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE TO NOTIFY CONTRACTORS OF A FORTHCOMING SOLICITATION. Title: Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Qua ntity Services Contract for ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY ANALYSES FOR CHINA LAKE, CALIFORNIA. The Contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, and labor required from the time of sample receipt through reporting o f the analytical results. The Contractor shall provide clean sample bottles and shipping containers as required in each Sco pe of Work. The Contractor shall analyze soil, sludge, groundwater, wastewater, and miscellaneous solid samples for environ mental parameters and potential hazardous constituents. All laboratory analyses shall be performed by a laboratory certifie d by the California Department of Health Services, Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program, for the specific analytic al method requested. The Contractor shall submit reports, both electronically and by paper, of analytical results of suffic ient quality to ensure compliance with state, federal, and any other applicable environmental requirements and regulations t o the Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake, California. Analytical results provided under this contract shall be technical ly valid and contain legally defensible environmental data. Additional services, within the general scope, and magnitude, ma y be added to this contract. This contract shall not exceed $100,000.00 per year and no single work order will exceed $75,0 00.00. The contractor is guaranteed a minimum of $5,000.00 per year that the contract is exercised. The minimum for an ind ividual task order will be for one sample and one analysis. Individual delivery orders for work to be performed will be ord ered or negotiated on a project by project basis. The contract will be for a period of one year with four option years for the same basic services. The Government may exercise a contract option before the expiration period if the contract amount for the base period or preceding option period has been exhausted or nearly exhausted. The NAICS code is 541380. The relat ed small business standard is $5.0 million. This solicitation is unrestricted. Potential bidders should request IFB N68711-01-B-0433 over the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil as an Electronic Bid Solicitation (EBS). The subject ?Procurement Notice? should appear in the Commerce Business Daily on o r about 15 October 2001. No paper copies will be available.
