Description

Work under this project includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities and all other appurtenances needed for construction of approximately 22,952 linear feet of earthen terraces, in shallow water conditions. Project also requires planting 9,400 trade gallons of "Schoenoplectus californicus" (California bulrush). All plantings will be accomplished between the dates of 6/1/02 and 7/31/02, and within 15 calendar days of completion of each 1000' section of terrace. Project site is located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. Solictitations will be available on or about October 29, 2001. Price range between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible offers will be considered by the agency.
