Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared=20 in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as=20 supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This=20 announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not=20 be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. Proposals=20 are hereby being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. =20 Refer to solicitation as RFQ N00140-02-Q-H013. This solicitation document and=20 incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-27 and=20 DFARS 2001213. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the=20 applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at=20 these addresses: www.arnet.gov/far and www.dtic.mil/dfars. A firm fixed price=20 contract is contemplated. The NAICS is 721110 and the Small Business Standard=20 is 100. The FISC Detachment Philadelphia requests responses from qualified=20 sources capable of providing a total of 225 nights of lodging in single occupancy rooms in Washington D.C., which are expected to be used for a 5 day=20 training course during the period from 03 Nov 01 through 06 Nov 01. Lodging=20 must be provided along the following routes: (1) Within the Beltway (DEFINE)=20 and within 1/4 mile of a Metro Station, (2) Must have a restaurant that provides=20 breakfast, lunch and dinner service, (3) Continental breakfast service must be=20 provided at no additional cost, and (4) Required AAA Rating of 3 diamond or=20 above. Delivery is FOB Destination. The following FAR provision and clauses=20 are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, NOTE: Offeror's attention is=20 specifically directed to paragraph (b)(11) of this provision. OFFERORS THAT=20 FAIL TO FURNISH REQUIRED REPRESENTATIONS OR INFORMATION, OR REFECT THE TERMS=20 AND CONDITIONS OF THE SOLICITATION MAY BE EXCLUDED FROM CONSIDERATION. 52.212-2, 52.212-3 ALT I; 52.212-4, 52.212-5 including the following additional=20 FAR clauses/provisions 52.203-6, 52.219-8, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36,=20 52.222-37, 52.225-3, and DFARS 252.212-7001 including the following additional=20 DFARS clauses/provisions 252.212-7001, 252.225-7012, and 252.225-7036. Additionally, FAR 52.217-9, FILL-IN: paragraph (a) 30 days FILL-IN: paragraph=20 (c) 12.5 months and FAR 52.245-2 are incorporated by reference.
