Description

On or about October 22, 2001 a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued for dive services for the Pacific fleet of Coast Guard cutters. The full solicitation will be available electronically at http://fedbizopps.gov. The USCG Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific in Alameda, CA, proposes to contract for a fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type requirement for dive services for the Pacific fleet of Coast Guard cutters for a base period and 4 option years. The solicitation is anticipated by geographic lot for Alaska, Hawaii and Guam, Washington and Oregon, and for California. Contractors may propose on one or more lots. For Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, the Department of Transportation (DOT) Minority, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
