Description

NASA intends to hold a pre-solicitation conference on October 24, 2001 for the Landsata Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) Request for Proposal (RFP). At this conference, NASA will discuss, in general terms, the major changes made to the LDCM draft RFP as a result of comments received from both industry and LDCM data users. The conference will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the University of Maryland University College Inn and Conference Center. For any other information related to the pre-solicitation conference, please contact Ms. Deborah Avera at 301-614-6619. Due to the importance of clarity in data rights issues as defined in the NASA Draft Data Policy document, NASA has posted an updated version of the LDCM Draft Data Policy document for industry/data user review and comment. The revised Data Policy can be found at http://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/sol.cgi?acqid=97958#Amendment 01. All comments should be sent to Jim Becker by email at jbecker@pop200.gsfc.nasa.gov or by facsimile at 301-286-0357, and should be received no later than COB October 8, 2001. NASA now anticipates releasing the LDCM final RFP on/before October 31, 2001. Potential Offerors are also reminded that the ALI Forum will be held at the Massuchusetts Institute of Technology/Lincoln Laboratory October 17-18, 2001.
