- Description
- The U.S. EPA, National Risk Management Research Laboratory, Immediate Office Genetic Toxicology Div., intends to renew the lease-to-own-purchase maintenance agreement with Danka Imaging, Inc. on the Kodak 110AF copier for the period 11/1/01 thru 9/30/02, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contractor shall be responsible for maintenance services, on-site, as needed, as follows: The Contractor shall provide all necessary maintenance, labor, repair parts (except consumable supplies) tools, test equipment, transportation, and other related services to restore and keep the equipment in operating condition. Only new standard parts or parts equal in performance to and interchangeable (without alteration) with new parts shall be used in performing repairs. The Contractor shall perform the service during normal working hours which are between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday but not including Federal Holidays. The Contractor shall identify a single point of contact for service calls and shall ensure maintenance representative receives notice of and responds to a service call within four (4) hours of notification. Remedial/Preventative Maintenance (RM/PM), shall be completed within eight hours after notification by the Government that RM/PM is required, unless an extension is mutually agreed to between the PO and the Contractor. This notice is not a request for quotations. However, any firm believing itself capable of meeting EPA requirements may submit requisite technical documentation to establish the potential of complying with the statement of work. Such documentation must be submitted to the POC with 15 days of electronic posting of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed on a sole source basis. This acquisition is being processed under FAR Part 12, Commercial Items.
