Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Rolls Royce Corporation, Indianapolis, IN on an other than full and open competitive basis to acquire three AE1107C engine torque meter assemblies; part number 23073474 under basic ordering agreeme nt N00019-99-G-1060; using commercial item (FAR Part 12) procedures. These items will support V-22 aircraft production; and are required to be delivered by 30 January 2002 to Amarillo TX. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR P art 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Rolls Royce Co rporation is the sole source designer, developer and producer of the AE1107C family of engines and their components. As suc h, they are the only known source with the requisite knowledge and technical capabilities to fulfill this requirement. Note 22 Applicable to this synopsis (Sole Source)
