NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE -- The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) laboratory facility in Morgantown, WV contains new mechanical equipment which is currently under manufacturer's warranty. The water chillers, which were provided by York International, are in need of routine yearly maintenance, which is not covered under the warranty. Until all warranties on the chillers expire, the maintenance of the system should be performed by the equipment manufacturer, in order to ensure that all warranties are secured. If there are vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet the stated requirements, including warranties, they are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures and references to Brenda L. Goodwin, Reference: RI2002-003, DHHS, PHS, CDC, NIOSH, ALOSH, 1095 Willowdale Road, Morgantown, WV 26505. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with York International Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA. Organizations may respond within 5 days after publication of this notice. These sources will be maintained for a future competitive solicitation. This notice is issued for informational purposes.=20
