Description

In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 and its Supplemental Handbook, The Military District of Washington Acquisition Center will be issuing solicitation DADW35-01-R-0012 on or about 9 October 2001 for services required at Fort Myer, located in Arlington, VA . This solicitation is being issued for the services of Central Issue Facility and Clothing Equipment & Repair Functions. These functions provide for general management and business operations. This action is a competitive Small Business Set-Aside action; the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 493110 for General Warehousing and Storage with a size standard of $18.5 Million. The apparent successful offeror wi ll compete with the Government In-House Most Efficient Organization (MEO). Contract will be a Firm-Fixed price type contract for a 12 month base period and four (4) one year option periods. The solicitation and all amendments will be issued via the World Wide Web at http://mdwsps2.belvoir.army.mil/DADW35-01-R-0012.htm. NO PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION OR ANY AMENDMENTS WILL BE MAILED. No public announcement of any amendments will be made. Vendors are advised to periodically check the web page for new amendments or other updates. The solicitation will be posted on the stated web page on or about 9 October 2001 with an initial closing date established for 9 November 2001. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled and none will be provided. A site visit and pre-proposal conference will be conducted at Fort Myer; date and time will be published via solicitation amendment.
