Description

The Walla Walla District, Corps of Engineers, intends to solicit sealed bids for the restoration of the existing hatchery process water reuse system 1. THIS SOLICITATION IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. The work will include: (1) 4 electric hot water boilers, 3800 kW each; (2) 2, 25HP centrifugal pumps; (3) 2 50HP centrifugal pumps; (4) 1 water-to-water heat exchanger; (5) steel piping, 1-inch to 14-inch diameter, with valves and appurtenances; (6) 4 unit substations, 4000kVA each; (7) secondary distribution from su bstations to boilers; (8) temperature instrumentation and annunciation. Completion date for the work will be approximately October 18, 2002. ADMIN INFO: The estimated cost range for this job is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 1629 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234990. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $27,500,000.
