Description

The 377th CONS/LGCM is seeking sources capable of performing Base Supply Services for Kirtland AFB NM. The Kirtland AFB supply operation is part of the Air Force Standard Base Supply (SBSS/ILS-S) system as defined in Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 23-110. Services to be provided are two fold: 1) the ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying and the overall operation on Kirtland AFB, including (but not limited to) administrative supplies, furniture, fixtures, test equipment, tools, computer equipment, and aircraft/weapons systems parts and equipment 2) the ordering, inventorying, receiving, storing of hazardous materials, including (but not limited to) paints, solvents, acids, cylinder gases, glues, cryogenics, liquid and solid rocket propellants, and ground and aviation fuels. Other responsibilities include maintaining minimum customer requirement stock levels, returning and reordering defective materials/supplies, and performing mission-immediate capability (MICAP) support for multiple weapon systems. A SECRET clearance is required to handle Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment and other classified items. Firms capable of performing the described services are invited to submit a description of their capabilities as it relates to the type of service we are asking for, e.g. Base Supply. If your company/firm has done work with Performance Based Contracts, please describe where this work has been, what type of work, and whether it was with a government or non-government entity. Capability packages should be submitted to the following address: 377 CONS/LGCM, 2000 Wyoming Blvd., Kirtland AFB NM 87117-5606. Submissions should be limited to 15 pages and provide evidence of similar past or present performance to include the names and telephone numbers of references. CONTRACTORS MUST IDENTIFY THEIR BUSINESS TYPE in relation to the NAICS (North American Industry Classification System Code) and SIC (Standard Industrial Code) listed below (i.e., Large Business, Small Business, 8(a) certified business, woman-owned business, etc.). The applicable NAICS is 561210, the applicable SIC Code is 8744 and the corresponding size standard is $5.0 million (gross revenues averaged over the past three years). This synopsis is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for bids/proposals. The Government reserves the right to award to an 8(a) firm utilizing GSA, other Air Force contracts, open market procedures to be determined. Responses will assist the Government in determining whether to set-aside/restrict in some way or solicit offers from all responsible sources.
