Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F7321112480300, this solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small businesses. The NAICS code is 514120 and small business size standard is $18.0 million. 0001: To furnish all labor equipment, material and transportation required to monitor the Family Support Center Resource Center at Scott AFB, IL IAW the attached SOW, (SOW and wage determination can be downloaded at http://FedBizOpps.gov.) The service period is 1 Oct 01 through 30 Sep 02. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition, and the Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers; technical capability of the contractor to meet the Government requirement and price. Technical is equal when compared to price. The government reserves the right to award to other than the offeror with the lowest price. Award shall be based on best value to the Government. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.213-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement statutes and Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the clauses at subparagraph (b)(12)(13)(14)(15), and (c)(1) and (2) apply. FAR provisions and clauses can be downloaded at www.arnet.gov/far/. Employee Class: Computer Operator II, GS-5, Wages and Fringes, $11.74 per hour + 32.85% for Fringes.
